Record Your Regular Household Activity — FAQ

This FAQ summarizes the full guidelines document. If anything here ever conflicts with the guidelines, the guidelines take precedence.

Task

Start here

Q: How do I complete a task (start → record)?

A: Register in both required apps (Mindrift and Minute Data), review the Project Instructions and Quality Criteria, mount your phone, then record your task — it uploads automatically once you stop.

Q: How should I position my phone?

A: Mount your phone for a top-down, first-person view — like looking through your own eyes. Use a headband, hat clip, or non-elastic strap. Chest-mounted or fixed-position setups (e.g., propping the phone on a shelf or lamp) are not accepted, even if they point downward. See the DIY: Head-Mounted Camera Options guide for setup examples.

Q: Can I record without a head mount at all?

A: No, a head mount is required. Your phone must be worn on your head for a top-down, first-person view — handheld, propped, or fixed-position recordings are not accepted, even if they happen to point downward.

Q: Am I allowed to wear a hat while recording?

A: Yes — a baseball cap is one of the supported mounting options. See the DIY: Head-Mounted Camera Options guide for the cap-and-clip and cap-and-tape setups.

Q: Can I record on a different phone and upload the video afterward, or use a pre-recorded video?

A: No. Pre-recorded or out-of-app footage is strictly not allowed. You must record directly within the Minute app.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum video length?

A: Videos under 1 minute are not reviewed — they won't be scored or paid. The app shows a quick-tip reminder about this before you record, but double-check your recording is at least 1 minute. On the max end, the app automatically stops recording once you hit 30 minutes, so that's now a hard limit rather than a suggestion — if your task runs longer, split it into separate recordings.

Q: Can I pause and resume recording?

A: No — perform your task naturally in one continuous take, with no stopping and no editing.

Q: My recording is over 30 minutes — will it upload as one file?

A: Once your recording reaches 30 minutes, you will be prompted to review the video. If you would like to upload it, you will then be prompted to Save and then Confirm that Save. You will then need to start another recording if you wish to continue recording activities.

Q: What happens if I record on a non-spec (unsupported) device?

A: Your footage won't be considered for review at all. Accounts flagged for using a non-spec device are automatically disabled in Minute — you will not receive a notification when this happens, so if your videos are sitting in "Pending" with no resolution, an incompatible device may be the reason. Always confirm your device is on the supported list before recording.

Q: I don't see any tasks in the Minute app — what should I check?

A: First confirm both registrations are fully complete (Mindrift and Minute Data, same email), that you entered the invite code when creating your Minute Data account, and that you're in the correct organization, "HUB - Residential" (check Settings to confirm). There's no cap on tasks, so an empty queue can also just be temporary — check back if everything above is confirmed correct.

Q: The Minute app shows a task count (e.g. ~84) but the website says “No tasks available.” Which is correct?

A: Minute is correct. The “website” you're likely seeing is Mindrift, which never displays a task list for this project by design (see “Why don't I see any tasks in Mindrift?” below). Always check Minute for your actual task list and count.

Q: Mindrift shows “No tasks available / Please wait, tasks will appear soon.” Is something broken?

A: No — this message is normal, expected behavior on the Mindrift dashboard, since Mindrift never lists tasks for this project. It doesn't indicate a problem with your account. Check the Minute app for your actual task list.

Q: I recorded and submitted in Minute, and it says “All synced,” but I don't see it in my Activity History. Why not?

A: Activity History is a Mindrift feature, and since tasks for this project are completed entirely within Minute, they will not appear in Mindrift's Activity History — even after a successful submission. This is expected and not an error.

Before recording

Must-follow recording rules:

  • Landscape (horizontal) orientation only — portrait recordings are rejected.

  • Top-down, first-person view — head-mounted or via a non-fixed mount (no chest-mounted or fixed-position cameras).

  • Use the 0.5x / wide-angle (ultrawide) camera — this is mandatory; standard 1x recordings may be rejected.

  • Record in 1080p or better.

  • Keep both hands visible throughout the task.

  • A valid household task only, from the accepted task categories (indoors or outdoors).

Q: Can someone else (e.g., my friend) record me doing the task?

A: No. The camera must be head-mounted on you, positioned for a top-down, first-person view. Side, third-person, or fixed-position recordings will be rejected.

Q: Is sound allowed in the videos, or do I need to mute it?

A: Sound is allowed but not required — record in whichever way is most convenient for you.

Q: What if my hand briefly leaves the frame?

A: Try to keep both hands visible for the vast majority of the recording — that's why the wide-angle (0.5x) camera is mandatory. Brief, natural movements out of frame are fine as long as this isn't a repeated pattern.

What You Can Record

Household tasks may be recorded indoors or outdoors, provided the activity is one of the accepted task categories and all recording requirements are met.

Q: What are valid tasks?

A: Any of the accepted task categories — for example Kitchen Tasks, Home Organization, Repair & Assembly, Desk & Office Tasks, Craft / Hobby Fine Manipulation, Bathroom Organization, Dining Table Tasks, Plant Care, Cleaning, Laundry & Garment Care, Miscellaneous Object Interaction, Animal Care, and Yard & Landscaping. See the full list and examples in the guidelines.

Q: Can I record outdoor tasks?

A: Yes — outdoor recordings are allowed (e.g., Yard & Landscaping, outdoor Plant Care, outdoor dining setups), provided the activity is a valid household task and all recording requirements are met.

Q: Can I use a washing machine for clothes, or a dishwasher for utensils?

A: Yes — machine-assisted or fully manual is fine, as long as your hands are actively performing the task (loading, unloading, sorting, etc.).

Q: What counts as personal information (PII) I need to avoid?

A: Keep all of the following out of frame: visible human faces (including reflections, screens, or photos — faces on product packaging or media are fine), children, screens showing passwords or personal accounts, mail or documents with legible names/addresses, license plates, and ID or bank cards.

Q: Can I record activities that involve personal care or sensitive content?

A: No. Tasks must avoid personal care or sensitive content — this means no grooming, bathing, brushing teeth, or similar acts performed on yourself. No other people may appear in the video. If you're looking to record a bathroom-related task, "Bathroom Organization" (organizing cabinets, folding towels, cleaning grooming tools, restocking supplies) is an accepted category — just note this covers organizing/cleaning, not personal grooming itself.

Q: Can I record while seated?

A: No — recording while seated is not allowed.

Q: Can I record myself using a personal computer, writing texts, or playing piano?

A: No. Tasks must be valid physical household activities from the accepted task categories, with a clear result (e.g., cutting a shelf to size, cleaning a sink).

Q: Are pets allowed to appear in the videos?

A: Yes, for accepted Animal Care tasks such as preparing feed, refilling water, brushing animals, or preparing bedding. Petting animals on its own is not an accepted task, and no other people may appear in the video.

Q: Is it okay if brand names appear in the recordings (e.g., shampoo)?

A: Yes, that's fine — but avoid products with pictures of people on them, as they may be flagged as personal information.

Recording & Technical

Q: Can the video be compressed or edited?

A: No — recordings must not be edited, altered, or compressed. Submit the raw, continuous recording.

Q: Are AI-generated videos allowed instead of real recordings?

A: No. Footage must be an original, real recording of you performing the task. AI-generated video is not accepted.

Q: My video isn't uploading after I stop recording. What should I check?

A: Check that your recording is in landscape orientation, was captured with the 0.5x wide-angle camera, and that you have a stable internet connection. Give it a moment to finish processing before assuming it failed.

Q: The submit button isn't appearing, the video seems stuck and hasn't uploaded — what else should I check?

A: Beyond orientation and camera lens, make sure the app is fully updated to the latest version and give the recording time to finish processing — automatic upload can take a moment on longer videos. If it still hasn't uploaded after checking all of this, contact support — it may be a bug that needs to be reported.

Q: Where do I upload the video?

A: After you stop recording, you'll get a preview with Save/Discard options, then a confirmation dialog. Once you confirm Save, it uploads automatically — there's still no separate manual submit/upload button beyond that.

Q: Does the video upload immediately after recording, or can it happen in sections?

A: You record as one continuous take, and it uploads automatically once you save it. The app automatically stops recording at 30 minutes, so a single session will always upload as one file.

Q: Where do I upload the video?

A: There's no separate upload step, and no manual submit either — once you stop recording, the video uploads automatically.

Q: Does the video upload immediately after recording, or can it happen in sections?

A: You record as one continuous take, and it uploads automatically as soon as you stop. Note that recordings over roughly 30 minutes may automatically upload as multiple file parts — that's normal app behavior, not something you control manually.

Q: Where in the app do I tap to start recording?

A: From the Minute app home screen, select a task from your task list — you'll see the task's description and an example clip. Tap the play/Start button to open the camera and begin recording.

Q: Can I review my video or change the task category before it uploads?

A: You can review playback and choose to discard it right after you stop recording — tap Save to keep it, or Discard to delete it and re-record. A confirmation dialog follows before it actually uploads. You still can't change the task category after the fact, so make sure you selected the right one before you started recording.

Q: Can I delete a recording after I've saved it?

A: Only before it's been reviewed. Once you're in the app's session/history list, you can open a saved-but-not-yet-reviewed recording and delete it. Once a submission has been reviewed, it can no longer be deleted — this only works as a short window to catch mistakes before review, not a way to remove footage after the fact.

Q: Can I review my video or change the task category before it uploads?

A: No — there's no preview or confirmation step. Once you stop recording, the video uploads automatically as-is. Make sure your recording matches the Quality and Diversity criteria and the task category you selected before you stop.

Q: I can't record in the Minute app, or it won't let me continue. How do I fix it?

A: A few common causes can block recording — work through this checklist:

  • Permissions: Make sure both Camera and Microphone permissions are allowed for the app. If you tapped "Don't Allow" on either during setup, recording will be blocked.
  • Task not selected: You must select a task from your task list before recording becomes available — if no task is chosen, the app won't let you start.
  • Device not supported: Confirm your phone is on the current supported device list (Section 2). If your device is flagged as non-spec, your account may be automatically disabled, which would also prevent recording.
  • App not updated: Make sure both Mindrift and Minute Data are updated to their latest versions.
  • Orientation: Confirm your screen is locked to landscape before attempting to record.

If you've checked all of the above and still can't record, contact support. If possible, include a screenshot of the issue — this helps the team diagnose the problem faster.

Q: Can I complete tasks in a mobile browser?

A: No. Tasks must be completed through the Mindrift and Minute Data mobile apps.

Q: Do I have to use the wide-angle (0.5x) camera?

A: Yes — it's mandatory. It helps keep both hands visible throughout, and standard 1x recordings may be rejected.

Q: Are there any device requirements?

A:  Only the device families listed above are supported — all other brands and models (including Motorola, Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei, Galaxy A-series, and iPhone SE) are not accepted. Confirm your phone is on the supported list before registering — iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 16e, iPhone 17e, and Galaxy S FE models are not currently supported. Your camera lens must also be clean and crack-free, or clips may be rejected.

Q: My device isn't on the supported list — can I still work on the project?

A: You can still record, but footage from an unsupported (non-spec) device won't be reviewed, and  48 hours pending it will be considered rejected — meaning no payment for that footage. You can resume being reviewed as soon as you switch to a supported device.

Q: The app won't open my camera, even after I've entered my code — what should I check?

A: This is usually a permissions issue. Check that camera and microphone access are enabled for Minute Data in your phone's Settings app. If permissions are already granted and the issue persists, try updating or reinstalling the app.

Review & Rejections

Q: How are tasks reviewed?

A: Each submission is scored on two separate measures — a Quality score and a Diversity score (0–100). shown in the app as an overall Quality result and three factors (Clarity, Variety, Task). If either score falls below 50, the footage is rejected; a strong score on one can't make up for a weak score on the other. Review time is up to 48 hours.

If a submission's status remains "Pending" for more than 48 hours, treat it as rejected. Note: there is currently no notification if this is due to a non-spec device — if you're seeing repeated Pending statuses with no resolution, double-check that your phone is on the supported device list.

Q: Why hasn't my task been reviewed, or why does it seem stuck?

A: A submission can be waiting on one of a few things: it's still within the normal review window (up to 48 hours); it was under 1 minute long and therefore not reviewed at all; it's been pending for more than 48 hours, in which case treat it as rejected; or it was recorded on a non-spec (unsupported) device, in which case it will never be reviewed. Check each of these before contacting support.

Q: Where can I see exactly why my video passed or failed?

A: The Minute app shows an overall Quality result plus three factors (Clarity, Variety, Task), but doesn't break down which specific criteria you met or missed within those. It also doesn't show a status (approved/rejected/under review) or an ID for each individual video — you're only paid for accepted videos. Keeping the 48-hour review window in mind: if what you're paid for a batch of submissions is less than expected given how many videos you submitted, assume one or more of them scored below 50 for Quality and Diversity, and were rejected.

Q: What are the most common reasons videos get rejected?

A:  Most rejections come down to incorrect camera setup: recording in portrait instead of landscape, using a fixed or chest-mounted camera instead of a head-mounted top-down view, recording from the side or in third-person, poor or inconsistent lighting that makes the task hard to see, or a dirty/greasy camera lens that blurs the footage.

Q: What's the difference between my Quality score and my Diversity score?
A: They're two separate 0–100 scores, and both must be at or above 50 for your footage to be accepted — one strong score can't make up for a weak one. Your Quality score reflects our quality requirements: orientation, footage stability, lighting, hand visibility, valid task, natural environment, camera angle, lens condition, personal information (PII), and originality. Your Diversity score is separate — it reflects how much genuine variation there is within the activity you recorded, tied to the Diversity/Realism requirement in the Quality Criteria.

Q: What quality and diversity score do I need to maintain?

A: Once you have 3 or more reviewed recordings, both your quality score and diversity score must stay at 50 or higher. This isn't a one-time requirement — if either score drops below 50 after that point, you may be removed from the project.

Q: Why is my Diversity score low? / What causes a low Diversity score?
A: A low Diversity score is likely caused by a lack of variation within the activity itself — for example, repeating one motion on the same object for most of the video instead of showing a genuine range of actions. This is exactly what the Diversity/Realism requirement is meant to help you avoid: task execution that's natural and realistic, not idle, staged, or repetitive with no progression.

Q: How do I improve my Diversity score, or avoid a repetitive-motion rejection?
A: Work at a normal pace with no lingering, and avoid repeating the same motion unnecessarily. Within your task category, vary the specific actions, objects, or tools you use — for example, alternating between arranging, sorting, and labeling within Kitchen Organization rather than repeating one action on one object. Aim for a meaningful change in action roughly every 3–5 minutes.

Q: Can I record just one activity the whole time — like folding laundry start to finish — without hurting my Diversity score?
A: Yes — single-focus recordings aren't automatically penalized. A full session of washing dishes or folding laundry can still score well, as long as it's genuinely productive and shows real progression (e.g., stacking, rinsing, soaping, drying), rather than one repeated motion with no variation.

Q: I recorded the right task category, so why is my Diversity score still low?
A: These are two different requirements. Recording the correct, matching category satisfies the Valid Task requirement. The Diversity score depends on something separate — how much genuine variation there is within that task — so it's possible to pass Valid Task and still score low on Diversity if the actions themselves are too repetitive or staged.

Q: What happens if my video uploads upside-down?

A: An inverted (upside-down) video automatically receives a Quality score of 0 and is rejected — this happens regardless of how well the task itself was performed. Double-check the orientation before you record

Q: Can I redo a rejected task?

A: You can't re-record or redo a video once it has been rejected. You can, however, select the same task category in the Minute app and record another video in that category, if available.

Payments

Q: How will I be paid?

A: You will receive $4 per accepted hour of content, paid directly to your account. Partial hours are paid proportionally (e.g., 30 minutes of accepted content = $2).

Q: Why does my balance update every day now?
A: As your video sessions are accepted, their earnings are added to your Mindrift balance automatically, once per day. You'll typically see this update in your local morning.

Q: Does this mean I get paid out daily now?
A: No. Your balance updates daily to show earnings as they're accepted, but the actual payout/withdrawal schedule hasn't changed — it's still twice a month (tasks completed 1–15 paid on the 20th; 16–end paid on the 5th of the next month).

Q: Why do I see multiple separate amounts added instead of one total?
A: Each accepted video session is credited to your balance individually. If you had 5 accepted sessions in a day, you'll see 5 separate line items — this is expected.

Q: My accepted task count and balance updates don't seem to match up. Why?
A: The daily balance update runs on UTC time, not your local time zone, so the cutoff for "yesterday" may not match your local day — this can cause a temporary mismatch.

Q: My PayPal is registered under a different email than my Mindrift account, or I need to link/update my PayPal — what do I do?

A: Your PayPal email doesn't need to match your Mindrift login email. What actually matters is your name: the first and last name on your PayPal account must exactly match the name on your Mindrift account, or withdrawals will be blocked (and repeated mismatches can get your account blocked). To connect or update PayPal, go to the Payments page in Mindrift and select "PayPal via Tipalti." For more information, check out “Setting up Tipalti for your payouts” and “Most frequent questions”. For anything specific to your account, contact Mindrift support.

Q: My payment was cancelled and I'm asked to select a method in the Tipalti Supplier Hub — where's the registration link?

A: There's no separate Tipalti Supplier Hub sign-up for this project. Tipalti is just the processor Mindrift uses behind the scenes for PayPal payouts — you connect your existing PayPal account directly from the Payments page in Mindrift, using "PayPal via Tipalti." Make sure your PayPal account is registered, valid, active, and under your real name before connecting. For more information, check out “Setting up Tipalti for your payouts”. If you're seeing a genuinely separate Tipalti registration request outside of Mindrift, contact Mindrift support.

Q: A payout failed (“no payment method selected”) and Edit/Add new method just opens a support chat instead of a form. Can this be reset?

A: This usually isn't something to "reset" — it means the withdrawal was declined by Tipalti (Mindrift's payment provider). Check your email inbox, including spam/junk, for a message from Tipalti explaining the reason. The most common causes are: the wallet details provided are invalid, the wallet is inactive, or Tipalti withdrawals aren't supported in your country. You can check country support directly here: Payment methods coverage - US & ROW – Tipalti. Once your details are corrected, you can retry the withdrawal from the Payments page.

For more information, check out “Setting up Tipalti for your payouts” and “Most frequent questions”. For anything specific to your account, contact Mindrift support.

Q: What payment methods are available in my country, and how can I resolve issues with payment options?

A: Payment methods and related issues (including availability in your region or setup problems) are not managed by the project team. For more information, check out “Most frequent questions”. For anything specific to your account, contact Mindrift support.

Q: How frequently can I withdraw money?

A: There is a payment schedule with pay dates, or days where withdrawals are available. Payments are issued twice per month: tasks completed 1–15 are paid on the 20th; tasks completed 16–end are paid on the 5th of the next month. If the payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, it's processed on the next business day. See "Rewards in Mindrift: ways of payment" for more information.

Q: Are there any bonuses beyond the base pay rate?

A: Yes. You can earn +$15 for every person you refer, once each referral completes their first accepted hour of recorded content — see 'How do I refer someone?' below.

Q: How do I refer someone?
A: Open the task "Earn $15 for Every Toloker You Refer" on your Mindrift dashboard, confirm how you joined, and share your unlocked link anywhere — social media, messaging apps, or people you know directly.

Q: Who can I refer?
A: Anyone able to record short first-person videos of everyday household chores, with no special skills required — just a supported phone and the ability to follow the guidelines.

Q: I was referred by someone else — why can't I get my own referral link right away?
A: Referred users wait 48 hours after registering before their own link unlocks. This is expected, not an error.

Q: Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

A: No — there's no cap. You'll receive +$15 for every person you refer who completes their first accepted hour of recorded content.

Q: I referred someone but the referral reward wasn't credited. Why?

A: Double-check the eligibility rule first: the referral bonus (+$15) is only credited once your referral completes their first accepted hour of recorded content — it isn't automatic just from signing up. If your referral has met that bar and the bonus still hasn't appeared, contact support with their account details.

Q: I have an issue with a reward or incentive I earned. Who do I contact?

A: Contact Support and select the Incentive Payment option — we'll be happy to help you investigate and resolve the issue.

Account & Access

Q: Which countries can participate in this project?

A: This project is currently open to contributors in the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay. If your country isn't on this list, you won't be eligible to participate.

Q: Can I use a VPN to participate if I'm not in an eligible country?

A: No. Before recording, make sure any VPN or proxy is turned off — your device's location must reflect where you actually are at all times. Using a VPN, proxy, or any other tool to mask or change your location — whether to appear as though you're in an eligible country or for any other reason — is forbidden and will result in removal from the project.

Q: Do I need to register in more than one app?

A: Yes. Registration is a two-step process: first in Mindrift (where you pick up the project and where payments later appear), then in Minute, where the tasks themselves live, and where you record, upload videos, and see your review scores. Both registrations — using the exact same email — are required before a recording can be paid.

Q: What happens if I use a different email on Minute than the one I used on Mindrift?

A: Any videos you record and upload under a mismatched email will not be paid. Payment is tied to having matching emails across both platforms.

Q: I already registered on Minute with a different email. What should I do?
A: Contact Support and select the option "Change Email Address" to request that your email be updated to match (Minute and Mindrift email addresses must match). We use your Minute Data email to process automatic payments for your approved hours, so this needs to be fixed before any further recordings are paid.

Q: I've already uploaded videos under a mismatched email. Can I still get paid for them?
A: No — videos uploaded under an email that doesn't match your Mindrift registration will not be eligible for payment. Make sure your emails match going forward to avoid this for future uploads.

Q: Where do I get the 8-character invite code for Minute?

A: The code is 33XPEMV5. It's a fixed project code, so there's nothing to wait for or request a resend of. Enter it directly on the "Create an account" screen when you sign up — tap "Have an invite code? Create an account" from the Minute login screen. Use the code directly from the Guidelines.

Q: Why don't I see any tasks in Mindrift?

A: That's expected. Mindrift is used for registration and for payments only. All tasks for this project — including recording, uploading, and seeing your Quality and Diversity scores after review — live in Minute.

Q: Can my roommates record videos on my account?

A: No — one account per person. Your roommates should register separately.

Q: I can't log in to my accounts.

A: Check the specific issue first — see "number is duplicated," "not receiving the SMS code," or "forgot which login method I used" above. If none of those match your situation, contact support.

Q: I get “number is duplicated” or “An account with this phone number already exists” when registering. What do I do?

A: Your phone number can only be linked to one Mindrift account at a time. This almost always means you've already registered previously using a different social network login — try to recall which one (Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Apple, or GitHub) and log in with that instead of registering again. Please go to “Registration and Login” for more information  If you're still stuck, contact Mindrift support.

Q: I'm not receiving the SMS verification code. What should I check?

A: First, wait a minute and use the "Resend code" option in the app. If you still don't receive it, try requesting a new code again 24 hours after your last request, or contact your mobile provider — delivery issues are sometimes carrier-side. Note that Mindrift can't send the verification code by email; it's SMS-only. Please go to “Registration and Login” for more information. If you're still stuck, contact Mindrift support.

Q: I forgot which login method (Google, Facebook, etc.) I used to sign up. How do I recover access?

A: Mindrift doesn't store separate usernames or passwords — your account is tied entirely to whichever social network you originally used to log in. There's no built-in way to look this up. Try logging in with each option (Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Apple, GitHub) using the same email or phone number until one works. Please go to “Registration and Login” for more information. If you're still locked out, contact Mindrift support.

Q: My Minute account seems to be disabled — why, and can it be reactivated?

A: Accounts are most commonly disabled for using a non-spec (unsupported) device. If this happens, reactivation is possible once you have a supported device — contact support to let them know you've switched devices, and your account can be re-enabled. Note: the list of supported devices can change over time; if your device was previously supported and no longer appears on the current list, this is why your account may now be disabled.

Timeline & Limits

Q: What is the start and end date?

A: The project runs for 4 months, from June to September.

Q: Is there a limit to how many tasks I can complete per day?

A: No — there's no cap. The more accepted tasks you complete, the more you earn, and the more tasks become available to you. Just make sure each submission meets the Quality Criteria to be accepted and paid.

Q: How will the videos be used? Why am I recording them?

A: Your videos help train AI to understand hand movements and how people use their hands to perform everyday household tasks.

Getting Help

Chatbot: AI Project Helpdesk

Q: What is the AI Project Helpdesk?

A: It's an AI chat assistant. It has the full context of this project's guidelines and can answer questions about setup, mounting, recording, and task categories in real time.

Q: Where do I find the chat bot or the AI Project Helpdesk?

A: Look for and open "💬Ayuda — Project Video Data Collection" on your Mindrift dashboard, then tap the chat icon in the bottom-right corner to open the AI Project Helpdesk.

Q: What languages does it support?

A: English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Q: What can't it help with?

A: It can only answer questions covered in the guidelines — setup, mounting, capture, and task categories. It can't access your individual account, payment, or registration details. For those, contact Support.

Human Support

Q: How do I contact human Support?

A: Reach out through the Help Center linked in the guidelines and this FAQ.

Q: When should I use Support instead of the AI Project Helpdesk?

A: Use the AI Project Helpdesk first for guideline-based questions — mounting, recording, task categories. Contact Support for anything account-specific: registration, payments, device issues, or if the chatbot can't resolve your question.

Q: What should I include when I contact Support?

A: Include a screenshot of the issue where possible — this helps the team resolve it faster.
